ARO 637084 Air Section Service Kit

ARO 637084 covers the air section of two ARO drum pumps, the 612041-3 and the 612042-1. The air section is the motor end of the pump, where compressed air drives the piston and a valve shifts it at each end of the stroke. Our spec table does not itemize what the kit contains or name any seal materials. Have the pump manual open while you work so each seal goes back in its original position and orientation.

If the fluid end is also due for work, the same pumps list two lower end kits, 637081 and 637083. Their muffler is ARO 61879. Doing the air and fluid ends together saves a second teardown later.

When to Use This Kit

• Air blows out of the exhaust steadily while the pump is stalled.
• The motor hesitates, stalls mid-stroke or will not restart without a tap.
• Air consumption has climbed while output stays the same.
