Rebuild kit for the 2 inch fluid section of the ARO PD20P-FPS-PTA, with a Santoprene diaphragm, PTFE balls, gasket, U-cup and grease.
The ARO 637373-TA rebuilds the fluid section of a 2" diaphragm pump. This TA version uses a Santoprene diaphragm together with Teflon/PTFE balls. Per the spec notes, the kit includes a grease package, a gasket, a U-cup, an O-ring, a ball and a diaphragm.
Santoprene is a thermoplastic rubber that flexes well over many strokes. The PTFE balls do the check-valve job, closing on each stroke so fluid cannot slide back toward the inlet. The gasket, U-cup and O-ring give you fresh seals for reassembly, and the grease is there to lubricate them.
When to Use This Kit
- The diaphragm has ruptured and fluid has reached the air side of the pump.
- Seals weep at the fluid section joints after the pump has been opened.
- Flow surges or drops off because a check ball no longer closes cleanly.
