What sets the ARO 637373-TV apart from other 637373 variants is its material pairing: a Viton diaphragm working against Teflon/PTFE check balls. Viton is a fluoroelastomer, and PTFE is a stiff fluoropolymer, so this kit keeps both wetted wear items in fluorinated materials.
The diaphragm is the moving wall between the air side and the fluid side of the pump. The balls act as one-way valves at the inlet and outlet. When either one stops sealing, the pump keeps cycling while output falls off.
