ARO 637391-AA Fluid Section Service Kit, Santoprene
All-Santoprene fluid section kit (diaphragms and balls) for six ARO PD15P double diaphragm pump models.
Service kit ARO 637391-AA uses Santoprene for both the diaphragms and the check balls. It is listed for six ARO PD15P double diaphragm pumps.
ARO 637391-AA rebuilds the fluid section of a PD15P double diaphragm pump with one elastomer throughout: the diaphragms and the balls are both Santoprene. One of the listed models, the PD15P-YPS-KAA, is a 1-1/2" pump.
Inside an air-operated diaphragm pump, the diaphragms separate the air chamber from the product, while the balls work as one-way valves that let fluid in and push it out. Fitting fresh ones as a set keeps both chambers sealing evenly. See the Operators Manual for the rebuild steps.
Signs the Fluid Section Needs Service
- Product leaks out through the exhaust muffler.
- Suction is weak and the pump loses prime between runs.
- Discharge pulses unevenly from one chamber to the other.
