WHERE TO BUY?
The ARO 637401-AA is an EXP service kit for ARO (Ingersoll Rand) PD10A and PD10S double diaphragm pumps. Both elastomer components named in its specs are Santoprene: the diaphragm and the balls.
In an EXP pump, the diaphragms move the fluid and the balls open and close against their seats to keep flow going one way. Santoprene is a thermoplastic elastomer. One of the listed pumps, the PD10A-AAP-AAA, is a 1-inch metallic model. Technical documents are listed for this kit. Its fit list spans PD10A models with various codes plus the PD10S-ASS-AAA.
Rebuild Triggers
- Product appears in the air exhaust muffler.
- Discharge pressure or flow falls off over weeks of use.
- The pump loses prime or chatters as balls fail to seat.
