ARO 637401-VV EXP Service Kit, Viton, 1 in. Fluid Section

The ARO 637401-VV is the Viton member of the 637401 EXP kit line, made for the 1 in. diaphragm pump fluid section. Viton is used for both the diaphragms and the balls. Its spec notes spell out the contents: grease package, gasket, U-cup, O-ring, washer, ball and diaphragm.

That list takes in the diaphragms, check balls and seals that wear during normal pumping, so one kit covers the main wear items on the fluid side of a VV pump.

When to Rebuild With This Kit

• Pumped fluid is escaping through the air exhaust.
• Seals at the fluid section weep or drip between strokes.
• Suction is weak and the pump struggles to hold prime.
• Viton parts have taken a set or show surface damage at inspection.
