Built for 24 VDC controls, the ARO 637543-2-D stainless steel solenoid valve block kit lets 2- and 3-inch Compact or EXP pumps be converted from PD to PE.
The ARO 637543-2-D adds electronic control to larger ARO pumps. It is a solenoid valve block kit rated 24 VDC, built in stainless steel, and listed for 2- and 3-inch Compact and EXP series models. ARO's own note calls it a PD to PE conversion kit.
24 VDC is a common supply voltage in PLC-based control panels, so this version suits plants that run low-voltage DC out to field devices. With the solenoid block installed, every stroke is triggered by a signal from your controls, which makes it practical to dose, batch or halt the pump on command. A 120 VAC version is sold as the ARO 637543-2-A.
When to Use This Kit
- Your controller outputs 24 VDC and you want the pump to stroke on that signal.
