For 2" and 3" pumps in the ARO Compact and EXP lines, the ARO 637543-2-H supplies a stainless steel solenoid valve block with a 24 VDC coil carrying an ATEX/IECEx listing. It is the PD to PE conversion route for these larger frame sizes.
The solenoid sits between your control signal and the pump air supply. An energized coil redirects air to shift the pump, which lets a remote controller decide when each stroke happens.
When This Conversion Pays Off
- A large-port pump in a classified zone needs remote start and stop.
- Plant rules call for ATEX/IECEx marked coils on electrical devices near the pump.
- Stainless steel is required for the valve block on a 2" or 3" unit.
