Black polypropylene solenoid valve block with a 120 VAC coil. It lets 2" and 3" ARO EXP or Compact pumps move from PD to PE operation.
Two pump sizes, one kit: the ARO 637543-3-A handles PD to PE conversion for Compact and EXP series ARO pumps in the 2" and 3" sizes. It combines a black polypropylene valve block with a solenoid coil rated 120 VAC.
Think of the solenoid as an electrically operated air switch. Power on the coil sends air to shift the pump, so its cycle follows the timing of your control output instead of running freely. Pick it when the control power available at the pump is 120 volts AC rather than a DC supply.
Good Reasons to Install It
- The controls near a 2" or 3" pump switch 120 VAC.
- You need a larger pump to cycle in sync with a filler, mixer or other machine.
- Black polypropylene is the block material chosen for your installation.
Since no pump models are linked to this kit, verify fit by reading the pump nameplate, noting model and serial, and checking that the pump really is a 2" or 3" size.
