ARO 637543-3-N is the no-coil version of the black polypropylene valve block kit that takes 2" and 3" Compact/EXP pumps from PD over to PE.
The 637543-3-N differs from its black polypropylene siblings in one key way: the voltage field reads "No Coil". It is still a solenoid valve block kit for ARO's Compact and EXP series in 2" and 3" sizes, and ARO lists it as the PD to PE conversion for that pair.
A valve block of this type sits between the air supply and the pump's air motor. When a coil on the block is energized, it shifts the air flow, which lets a control system run the pump. With this variant, plan for the coil separately.
When This Variant Makes Sense
- You already have a coil on hand, or your plant standardizes on its own coil choice.
- A 2" or 3" PD pump is being moved to PE control.
- You want a black polypropylene block rather than a metal one.
