Built around a polypropylene fluid path, the ARO PD10P-APS-PTA is a 1 in Expert (EXP) Series AODD pump with NPTF threaded connections. Polypropylene forms the center section, the wetted parts and the valve seats. PTFE balls sit on those seats, and Santoprene diaphragms do the pumping. All hardware is stainless steel.
Choose this build when you want PTFE in the check valves but Santoprene is acceptable for the flexing diaphragm. It delivers up to 53.0 gpm (200.6 lpm) and handles solids to 1/8 in.
Each stroke opens one ball check and closes its partner, so the ball material matters as much as the diaphragm. PTFE is widely used for its broad chemical resistance, and here it forms a hard, low-friction ball. Before installing, read through the General Information Manual and the Operators Manual listed with this pump.
