The ARO PD10P-APS-STT leans heavily on PTFE in its fluid end. Its diaphragms are a PTFE/Santoprene construction, and the balls are PTFE. They close on 316 stainless steel seats. The center section and wetted parts are polypropylene, the hardware is stainless steel, and the 1 in ports are NPTF threaded.
This EXP Series model is rated to 53.0 gpm (200.6 lpm) with 120 psi (8.3 bar) air. It clears solids as large as 1/8 in.
A PTFE/Santoprene diaphragm is a two-layer design. The PTFE face meets the fluid, while the Santoprene backer supplies flexibility. With PTFE balls and stainless seats as well, the STT keeps elastomer contact with the pumped liquid to a minimum.
